The Do’s and Don’ts

Most of us had the coronavirus symptoms, yet some of us never took a test, assuming we’re having a seasonal sickness. Either way, we’re infectious.

First of all, take a PCR test to understand your condition, and then follow the simple rules for when you may have the virus.

Do’s:

Do take proper precautions

• Do social distancing
• Do wash your hands before wearing a mask and only touch the earloops while wearing the mask
• Do cover your mouth and nose with a tight-fitting cloth to avoid spreading cough droplets around you if you think a mask is not enough
• Do sneeze and cough in your elbow
• Do use hand sanitizer with more than 60% alcohol
• Do use plenty of warm water
• Do maintain good airflow
• Do cancel dental, medical, and other appointments to keep social distancing
• Do wipe down all the surfaces you come into contact with
• Do take Vitamin C, if you have the vitamin deficiency
• Do wipe your phone and laptop with wet napkins or disinfectant wipes
• Do protect your immune system by healthy food, diet, and proper sleep
• Do avoid alcohol consumption
• Do pay attention to the shortness of breath and high temperature to take appropriate measures
• Do limit the amount of salt and high-sodium flavors

Don’ts

• Don’t panic
• Don’t travel or go abroad
• Don’t interact with your pets even if you have the slightest symptoms
• Don’t take social distancing for granted and actually self-isolate
• Don’t share utensils or drinking glasses with others, including family members
• Don’t attend public places like gyms, restaurants, cafes
• Don’t shake hands or hug other people
• Don’t share your food or can of soda
• Don’t hesitate to seek help from professionals if someone from your family shows some warning signs

These rules may seem basic at first but are needed to decrease the risk of spreading and catching the virus.
